A War with Things

Film from the “Fourteen Tales from Lailonia Kingdom by Leszek Kołakowski” series, based on the philosophical parables „Tales from Lailonia Kingdom for the Big and Small” by Leszek Kołakowski.
Ditto is an idealist. Unlike his girlfriend Lina, he does not care much about the things surrounding him.

But Lina is fascinated with them. Her life is focused on collecting and admiring things. One day the things declare war against Ditto. Rebellious things turn Ditto’s life into a nightmare. On top of it, they tell Lina that Ditto is treating them badly. As Lina blindly trusts the things, Ditto decides to turn into a thing himself in order to show Lina their true nature. However, the things are not malicious to Lina. After some time Ditto realises that he lost the war with the things.
