Aniela Lubieniecka
Director, scriptwriter, set designer, animator.
She makes films using classical animation with painting techniques on celluloid.
Graduated from Fine Arts High School in Wrocław in 1970.
1975 graduated from Civil Engineering Department of Wroclaw Technical University.
In 1983 – 1992 worked for Feature Films Studio – Animation Films Division in Wroclaw as filmmaker and animator.
Since 1993, she has been co-operating with TV Studio of Animation Films in Poznan.
She has illustrated books for children, including: Anna Warecka “Tato juz lato” ( “Dad, it’s summer”), Zdzislaw Szczepaniak “Recepta na nude” (“Cure for boredom”); Jozef Krzyzanowski “Tajemniczy skarb” (“The Secret Treasure”).
Author of special effects for feature films, including “Powrot wilczycy” (“The Return of the She-wolf”) directed by Marek Piestrak (1991) and “Cudowne miejsce” (“Wonderful Place”) directed by Jan Jakub Kolski (1995).
She made a few commercials for, among others, “Softronic” and Ossolineum Publishers.
Since 1994 – multiple broadcasts of films made for TV SFA in Channel 1, TVP Polonia, TVP Culture.
1997 – 2008 The series “Animation Films to Classical Music” was sold, among others, to: Sweden (several times), Mexico, Japan (3x), Spain (4x), Great Britain, Switzerland, Korea (several times), Croatia, Slovenia, Norway, Finland (2x), Iran, Kuwait, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Russia (2x), China (3x; also 2x DVD), USA, Taiwan, Brazil, Portugal, South Africa, Canada, France (2x), Germany, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Romania, Greece, to Cyprus, Hungary (2x), Lithuania and Taiwan (several times)
2004 – ” Animation Films to Classical Music” series, on DVD in China (Vol. 2 entitled “Dance Trippingly”)
2005 – 2008 A series of animated films for children entitled “Polish Fairy Tales and Fairy Tales” was sold, m.in, to: Great Britain, Italy, Spain (2x), Argentina, Brazil, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Russia, Portugal, Iran, Finland, Japan, Malta, the Middle East, Andorra and South Korea.
