Lack – Best Animation Film
Paweł Prewencki’s auteur film LACK was awarded Best Animation Film at the Polish International Film Festival.
The film is about struggling with pain and suffering. It touches on very personal experiences. It is a story about loneliness, anger and grief affecting parents who lose a child. It is an individual and emotional visualisation of the world in which bereaved people live. It tells the story of an event for which no one is prepared, and the ‘catalogue’ of reactions we have known up to that point becomes useless.
