Basilisk

Animated film for children age 4 – 7 based on the “Basilisk” fairy tale by Artur Oppmann. Disobeying the orders of their father, blacksmith Ostroga, Halszka and Maciek enter a dark cellar. It turns out that the cellar is inhabited by a basilisk, a dragon which turns its victims into stone figures by simply looking at them. Ostroga and the town’s inhabitants rush to the children’s rescue. A wizard helps them with his knowledge and experience. Ostroga puts on a shining armour and goes to rescue the children. Thanks to a subterfuge he frees them that the basilisk, having looked into its reflection on the armour, turns into stone.
